桂枝茯苓丸是一种常用中成药，来源于汉·张仲景《金匮要略》一书，本方由桂枝、茯苓、丹皮、桃仁及芍药共5昧中药组成。具有活血化瘀，缓消癥块的功效，适用于妇女少腹宿有癞块，按之腹痛挛急，或妇女月经不畅，或经停腹痛，或难产，或胞衣不下，或死胎不下，或产后恶露不尽而腹痛拒按者。

主治功能：

1.治疗血栓性静脉炎、

2.治疗痛经

3.治疗急性乳腺炎

4.治疗前列腺肥大

5.治疗乳腺增生

6.治疗腰肌劳损

7.治疗软组织损伤

实验临床证明，桂枝茯苓丸可以治疗腰肌劳损，根据中医“不通则痛”的理论，采用桂枝茯苓丸主之，药证合拍，故获良效。用法：内服桂枝茯苓丸，每次6粒，日服2次，黄酒送下。5天为1个疗程。临床观察86例，经用药2-4个疗程后，其中治愈者75例，好转者8例，无效者3例。总有效率为96.5%。
