洋参保肺胶囊能清热解毒、止咳化痰，降气平喘。适用于久病咳喘、胸满多痰、肺炎、尘肺、矽肺、痰粘咯血、气短喘咳、外感风寒、痰湿阴肺引起的咳嗽。急、慢性支气管炎、支气管哮喘、肺气肿、肺结核、上呼吸道感染等症。

洋参保肺胶囊的主要成份有西洋参、桔梗、石膏、罂粟壳、甘草、麻黄、百部、苦仁等。

洋参保肺胶囊的用法用量是一般用于口服，一次3粒，一日2次。

感冒咳嗽者忌服。
